[台灣花蓮]第2天 (上) 交通+鵝肉先生｜ [Taiwan Hualien] Day 2 (I) Transport + Mr Goose @ MyLittleStory 我的小故事

由於第一天主要用在飛機上並沒有什麼行程，所以我會直接從第二天的行程開始說。

第2天: 早上坐6:20am火車到花蓮（２小時車程） --> 酒店休息 --> 鵝肉先生 --> 公正包子 --> 鋼管紅茶 --> 中華路買手信 --> 楊子萱招牌愛玉 --> 泥巴咖啡，老鼠背果

Since we spent the whole Day 1 on the flight, I would start by sharing with you my Day 2 of the trip.

Day 2: Took a morning train to Hualien at 6:20 am (2-hour travel) –> Rested a while at the hotel –> Mr Goose –> Gongzheng Baozi –> Steel Pipe Black Tea –> Buying souvenir at Zhonghua Road –> 楊子萱招牌愛玉 (Lemon Juice with Aiyu Jelly) –> Mud Coffee, Mouse Bagel

台北到花蓮交通

我們預早半天在互聯網上面訂了早上第一班的快車-早上6:20 的太魯閣號火車，或許因為當時是農曆新年的尾聲，當天的火車其實挺難訂的，所以我會建議大家出發前預早上網查一下火車。“太魯閣”列車比其他往花蓮的火車快很多，其他火車的車程大概需要3個小時，因此為我們省下不少時間。 We booked the tickets for the first morning express train - the Taroko Express which departed at 6:20am from Taipei Railway Station. Since it was the Chinese Lunar New Year, the train tickets were quite difficult to book. Therefore, I would suggest you to check the train ticket online before you start your trip. You can also book the tickets online just like what I did. The Taroko Express is a lot faster than other trains to Hualien. While other trains take around 3 hours from Taipei to Hualien, the Taroko Express only took 2 hours. It saved us a lot of time

沒有想到原來我們乘坐的是特別版的Hello Kitty彩繪太魯閣號（關於Hello Kitty彩繪太魯閣號詳情可以看：http://www.railway.gov.tw/tw/CP.aspx?sn=18502&n=21047）！！車上面的彩繪真的好漂亮！！！ It came to our surprise when we saw our Taroko Express being the Hello Kitty train! It is a special edition and the drawings on the train were really cute and colourful!!

酒店

我們入住的酒店是「百悅休閒旅店」，有免費機場接送服務，但是因為他們的車不多，所以要預早幾天電郵預定或到酒店櫃檯預定接送服務。酒店的自助早餐還好，款式不多，主要是傳統的台式早餐譬如白粥和醃菜。而且個人覺得偏油，但是味道還不錯。 We stayed at Byeyer Hotel. There is free airport shuttle bus service. As they do not have many buses, please remember to reserve in advance by email or at the reception. The breakfast buffet is fine. There wasn't a lot of choices and they mainly serve traditional Taiwanese breakfast including congee and preserved veggie. Personally, I think the dishes are quite oily but the taste is quite nice. Hualien 百悅休閒旅店早餐[/caption] 由於第一天晚上到達後一直在機場和車站等，所以一晚沒有睡覺，因此我們到底了酒店後也在酒店歇息了一會兒才再出發在市內走走逛逛。離開酒店的時候已經是下午時間，到附近弄電話卡後就去填肚子了！！ I didn't sleep at all on my Day 1 because I had to wait for the morning train to Hualien. Therefore, after we arrived at the hotel, we took a rest before going out again. We left the hotel in the afternoon. After buying a local sim card, we looked around for food.

鵝肉先生

我們的第一站是鵝肉先生果然是本地有名的食店，我們也等了大概15分鐘才可以入座。（*不過第三天的時候我見識到在花蓮吃好的原來一定是要排很久的！！* －請看第三天的文章）我來自香港的，我第一個感覺就是這裡食東西真的比香港便宜很多，不過其實這一家店已經是我多天來吃過最貴的餐館！！我挺喜歡它的鵝心和鵝腎的，但是最喜歡的莫過於雞鵝拼盤，尤其是那些走地雞雞肉，很香很有質感，而且也保留了食物的原味。 Our first stop is Mr Goose. This is indeed a very popular restaurant, we had to wait for around 15 min before we could get a seat (*From Day 3 onwards, I realised that whenever I want to eat good food in Hualien, I really have to wait for very long time*) After queuing for around 15min, we manage to try this famous goose restaurant. The price is comparatively more expensive than general restaurants in Hualien. The goose heart and kidney are quite good, the chicken and goose meat is the most worth trying dish - I like the texture and it tastes very meaty and not over-seasoned. I am from Hong Kong, so my first impression of this restaurant is that the price eating here is really a lot cheaper than eating in Hong Kong. However, actually, this meal was already the most costly among all the meals I had in Hualien. The goose heart and kidney are quite good, the chicken and goose meat is the most worth-trying dish - I like the texture and it tastes very meaty and not over-seasoned.
